How recruitment works
The same process applies to every kind of position. The applicant portal opens with the first published position. Until then, no applications are taken through this site or anywhere else; you can register your interest to be contacted when one opens.
- 01PublishedEach role is published with its reference, institution, responsibilities, qualifications and closing date. Compensation is stated only if approved; otherwise the role says so.
- 02Applied forApplications are made through the applicant portal and saved as you go. You can withdraw at any point before a decision.
- 03Reviewed by twoTwo reviewers score each application against a published rubric. A reviewer with a conflict of interest steps aside.
- 04Decided with reasonsEvery application receives a decision. An accepted application is referred to an appointing authority; it is not itself an appointment.
- 05Appointed in publicAppointments are issued as separate instruments and published in the register of appointments.
